The longest railway brigde in Lithuania

The largest Lithuanian bridge is the so-called Lyduvenu Dubysa railway bridge over the Dubysa river valley at Lyduvenu. It is on the 7 km Radviliskio – Pagegiu railway section 50. The length of the bridge is 599 meters, and height is 42 meters. At the beginning of the First World War, the German army occupied Lithuania, and in order to improve the accessibility and delivery of its army on the Eastern Front, decided to build a railway line from Lauksargiu – Jonaitiškis (Radviliskis )…..
